No, the show makes it pretty clear that Crystal Gems are what Rose Quarts and the others who rebelled against Homeworld called themselves. Jasper, Lapis and Peridot wouldn't be called Crystal Gems.

All of these fusions definitely have their appeal, but another user on this site by the name of StarryOak pointed out some problems with Sardonyx in "Cry for Help" that put quite a change on how that particular fusion is viewed. I recommend looking that up for more info.
