I really liked the idea of this exercise but I'm finding that I work on it less and less. The more I work on it, the more I'm kinda dissapointed with how extreme I went with some of these expressions and sorta regret it. It makes me want to start over but I keep poking at this one. Eh whatever.I've been poking around with this since Nov 2009. I think that's a long time. Then again, there's stuff that I've worked on longer that still ain't done.

Also, someone help explain to me what bereft means? I looked it up in a dictionary but I'm still kinda confused at it's connotation (however you spell that, you see I ain't great with words lol). There's a sketch for irritated but I didn't like it so I blocked it out. I intended to do every girl but seeing how long this one is taking, I might not. XD

Berefet is lacking something. like it's meaning is to be lacking or missing something. that could be like her missing her hairband and looking for it. your expression when you look for stuff essentially.

bereft is actually another word for lonely if you didn't know ok

Actually, "ill/nauseous" looks more like the morning after the night before than "tired" does.
...while "drunk" looks rather like the night before... which it should, I guess...

Chibi jen hen!!! I know what bereft means. It mean sometime like when someone in your life die that you love so much or something like that. You'll feel lonely like there no one else out there for. To make sense bereft means feeling lonely.

I don't think bereft is an emotion of it's own but an adjective of a something like an emotion. It's also a past tense of verb bereave which would be grieving... The sky is bereft of all sunshine as dark clouds rain tears of springtime upon the freshly budding flowers.

Expressions are my very favorite thing about drawing. And you're doing this SO well.
You can tell that she's got a very well thought out personality and I love it!

oh no i never trace other ppls art! Im talking about using crystal's emotions for example I look at the happy emotion and use her expression on one of my characteers just by looking at the screen, no tracing
