Description
My completed Toon Link costume! Redid the face, finished the sword and shield.I ended up not making the Master Sword, but I will eventually. I want to mess around with some LEDs and make a glowing sword. Expect something amazing with this in the future!

That is so epic! I love it! I have a question for you: How did you make the face? Like what is it made out of, and how does it fit on the head? Is this costume expensive to make, because I was interested in making my own Toon Link costume. ^W^ You've inspired me!

Forgot to mention that the face was made with foam too, except where the eyes were cut out. And I sewed a seperate "skin" that just fit the head's foam "skull." I folded up the skull and put it into the skin (through the opening my actual head would go when putting it on) and just fit the skin in the right place.

The whole head was shaped by cutting foam out and hot gluing the pieces together. The fabric for the "skin" was fleece along with the facial features. The pupils are just a seethrough black fabric (I forgot the kind of fabric i used, all I know is it was seethrough) so I could see through the eyes. The hair was made with maize colored windsor satin so the hair shined when there were camera flashes. But all in all it was simply just foam, fleece, and hot gluing everything together. Might cost around $20-$30 to make just the head, but I always like to factor in "screwing up" so buying extra material would be a good idea if it's your first attempt at something like this. So maybe assume $40 for the head? And additional for the other parts of the costume too.
