About the idea
Well as some people might remember I have been working on an “personal OC”

As you can see here: [link] I have tried different things, but I decided this is mostly was she ( Clausy ) will look like. ( Although I might change her clothing from time to time)

This drawing was (as you probably remember from my previous, very short, artist comment) meant for this contest: [link]
I thought I would be able to kill two birds with one stone:
- I would have a drawing of the “final” version of my new OC Clausy
- I would enter a cool contest.

But I screwed up.
I have been working on this drawing on my afternoons at school, I have rushed it a little bit, just to make sure I would make it to the contest.
And then I found out this:

The deadline to enter (note/comment me that you are entering) is on October 1st, after I gather all the participants names, I will then officially start round 1

I hadn’t read that, so I didn’t send a note before October first that wanted to enter, because I wasn’t sure if I would make it, and I didn’t want to bother ~vallainy , by first sending a note I would enter, and later sending a note to excuse that I wouldn’t be able to make it.

But I didn’t give up yet, and at the deadline, 30 October, I send ~vallainy a note explain it, and straight after that a note with a link to my entry.

She send me a reply, that it wasn’t a problem, and I could just send the note with my entry. But since I already did, I didn’t send it a second time.

I’m not really sure what went wrong, but I have never seen myself in the participants list.
So I off course also didn’t make it to round 2.

About this drawing
As you can see here, I went for the red hair after all. I didn’t want to make it to bright, but more somewhere between blond and orange, but that was pretty hard, since I also wanted it to be pretty bright coloured and with a lot contrast so it wouldn’t look boring.

I also gave her a blue and a green eye. Why… well I like green eyes and blue eyes… especially cats with one bright blue eye and one bright green eye are beautiful! So I wanted them to ( Although a blue and a green eye seem to be popular these days… and since I’m trying to be unique, this worries me a bit )

As you can see, Clausy is also wearing a cross around her neck, I have the same, but smaller.

Her T-shirt was first going to be just black, but that seemed a bit boring, so I ended up putting a rose on it, I’m not sure if I will keep it.

She also has stripped sleeves.. I have those too… well there actually leg warmers… but they seemed a bit to tight, I wanted them to be really loose like those Japanese girls wear.

And off course she wears a black miniskirt, just simple and plain… although maybe some day she gets a hip chain.

She also has stripped loose socks… I’m not really happy with these… but white or black seemed boring… I was also thinking of stripped tights or stockings

She also wears Lolita shoes. I want those too… but I have just normal flat Mary-Janes. Since usually those shoes have HUGE heels… and me with my poor balance really can’t walk on that I’m afraid.

She is sitting on a red gemstone… why…well I don’t exactly know… I like red, and I kinda like shine-stuff. ( Although I’m not fond of “Bling-bling” )

The background is blue with roses… I must say blue isn’t really my favourite colour but thought it would fit the picture…
