i just had to make something about the 'lack-of-Sombra'
im not complaining, i thought the new episode(s) were awesome! but the spoilers (even if i didn't see much of em) made it less interesting
but if your villain gets less screentime than GAK...
i had this idea and changed it a lot to make Twilight look less... 'bitchy'. for the people who now think that i think that Twi is not nice, i love Twi and i think she's an awesome and nice pony
i wasn't sure about the style i was gonna use for this comic, so i went with what i did for 'gak.png'
no sketch and chibi

Well maybe it wasn't cheep looking, but it looked a little like something king Sombra had, that was actually one of the reasons why an early speculation was that Trixie had allied herself with him and would appear in the premier, still it is properly still powered by the same dark magic, but I guess we will have to see.
One thing is certain, her new medallion is the key.

Poor King Sombrero. In terms of evilness, he's just cliche. I'll battle him in a Children's Card Game and see if I can't get any dialogue out of him.

We just know almost nothing about Sombra.
He have no backstory. The only things we know about him is that he have the power to turn into a black fart smoke and create black crystals

im not saying that he isn't the most evil one. he did already conquer the empire before the episode even started, but i just think that he didn't get enough screen time and lines to show his true evilness

2. Disappointing resolution
3. Half-assed villain
4. Songs were too short and not as good as the others
5. Overused story line

I agree! Sombra only laughed evily a little and grunted...and that was pretty much it. No dialogue means no character. But it was still a cool episode.

Kind of sad that most of the fandom talkes about how he had little screen time and wasn't a great villain, even though he treated the crystal ponie as slave, with complete shackles, and being the most dangerous genre savvy then Discord, got to cocky and didn't think friendship could prevail, and Chrysilis, thought the power of love was just for feeding and thinking it be weaponize. Really, if it wasn't for Spike, all of Equestria.
I guess he needed a Dragon. Not an actual dragon.
