i just had to make something about the 'lack-of-Sombra'
im not complaining, i thought the new episode(s) were awesome! but the spoilers (even if i didn't see much of em) made it less interesting
but if your villain gets less screentime than GAK...
i had this idea and changed it a lot to make Twilight look less... 'bitchy'. for the people who now think that i think that Twi is not nice, i love Twi and i think she's an awesome and nice pony
i wasn't sure about the style i was gonna use for this comic, so i went with what i did for 'gak.png'
no sketch and chibi
this suddenly got more and more attention... i was like 'no way... it can't be... i didn't even send it to them... i will have to check... thanx Equestria Daily (or whoever decided to show it to them

Ok sombra's minimal impression may have been a let down, but their may still be salvageable leverage.
Little is mentioned about sombra so in those dark corners of our mind he may thrive.
He ruled the crystal ponies with an iron hoof, made every pony under his rule his slave, hatred and fear are his domain as the crystals grow black.
The lands of the empire appeared baron and withered possibly so that all the food is stockpiled in his castle preventing subject independence. The crystal ponies marched in lines of chains, to where were all these ponies heading all at once? Mines? Toiling? Simply marching them to death so severs know who rules these lands? Who knows. Sombra can create a door to a ponies worst fear, perhaps he tormented the crystal ponies not with physical abuse but with assaults on their minds. The crystal ponies feared the miar thought of king sombra for his terror ran deep to their very soul.
Yet over all king sombra and the crystal empire are a tail of what happens when a couture forgets the evils of their past, for the shadows of old fears are mirely waiting to return.

sombra was awesome and he did great villain stuff, but i think they just had to give him more dialogue and screentime. a failed attempt to defeat him would have been nice as well cause the first thing they really try on him works.

Like..I saw the evilness in the guy, and he really seems to have the vibe...but he got owned and posthaste..I was expecting more xD otherwise he's a downright good villan
