001 Introduction 1/4
for the 100 Theme Art Challenge read right to left~ long time no see!!! i've been really busy with work and life... 
gomen ne~ about this mini-doujin~ we know how Aerith and Zack met, Cloud and Aerith met, Zack and Tifa met, Tifa and Aerith met, etc. we know just about how everyone met each other in FFVII but not how Cloud and Tifa met. all we were told was they're childhood friends... 
so, just for fun, i want to draw how they first started talking to each other when they were little in this mini 4 page doujin~ i hope you guys like it 
as the popular girl in town, little Cloud already knew of Tifa...

I'm usually not one for super-fluffy works such as this, but I have to say, this is just way too adorable to pass up on
Though it's mainly because the thought of Tifa as a child is almost too cute to fathom
To think that she could go from such an adorable little girl to such a gorgeous, sexy woman... though she has certainly retained quite a bit of her cuteness if you ask me

This picture, as the whole series, is really great! In fact in Cloud's flashback he only said he liked Tifa, but never actually talked with her because of her friends in the way; they became friends after the incident in Mt. Nibel. Still, that does not exclude this work! ^^

i can't remember what exactly happened in the lifestream flashback lol but my impression was that Cloud always liked Tifa and was always watching her from afar... but didn't really get much chance to talk to her because she's always surounded by her friends and Cloud was incredibily shy. but after Tifa fell from the cliff Cloud stood up to tell her dad it's his fault... i thought in order for him to do that they'd at least have met each other as some point LOL, not as friends but as aquantances~ so i imagined this is how they met... and of course afterwards they still didn't talk much

With your style you could capture the feeling of that flashback too; I don't know, I just remember that during the flashback (with "On the other side of the mountain" as soundtrack), while Tifa said: "This day is the day...mom died", I was like so shocked.
But it's beautiful how, while eache single friend abandoned her, Cloud followed her to Mt. Nibel and almost died with her.

In fact the scene at the well is good too, as the scene within mako reactor, when Sephiroth hurts Tifa and Cloud rescues her; after Reactor #5's destruction, when Clous is hanging, his first thought is for Tifa's safety as well as when he saw her going to Don Corneo. Really, I think he worries for her every single moment in FF7!
