Just a quick chart using today's upload to give people a reference to Kawaii's size. She's pretty normal- she comes up to about Takai's hip, meanwhile, I'm about the same height next to her (keep in mind, this means I'm a little taller than Takai's knee now.)I'd like to stress though- this ain't rocket-science accurate. I'm not saying it's correct, or that I won't decide to completely disregard it a week later. It's just something I thought people would enjoy. Now off to upload the other picture.

Hehe, yep, Kawaii is more or less normal-sized. I'm going to be making a proper height chart later on that will have all of our characters displayed... But right now, this will have to do. XD

She's had this erratic growth phenomenon for a long time, but it's stabilized a bit, she's grown steadily the past year before it tapered off, but she hasn't blown up to any incredible sizes in a while.

OOC: The stimulus used to be 'whenever she got wet, she grew', and it kind of became like Ranma 1/2. I think we're going to change that stimulus to something a little easier to control. ^_^

Well thanks. I hope I come up with something- I would like to produce comics along these lines, but I need to figure out things like th is before hand.
Also, on another note- I did a different height chart today, one with measurements actually included, and I think Takai is actually closer to 10 feet than twelve. I had been sizing our characters up relatively for a while, but it will make more sense in this new chart, I promise!
And no, Takai can't really stand up straight in the apartment.

We have a small deck that her and Kawaii usually like to hang out on where she can stand up, although there's barely enough room for the both of them out there when Takai decides to sprawl out.

Yep, and she can always sprawl out across the couch. She's been doing that quite a bit lately, she's been playing through Mass Effect 2. ^_^

I think you should one that shows you, Kawaii and Takai instead of these little markers. It'd be cute!

Y'know, you're right. I started one today at lunch. I mean, how lazy am I that I can't draw three characters standing in an idle pose. XD
And I'm glad you like Takai's recent vertical additions. I'll admit, drawing her at this size is quite a bit more challenging, but it's really fun. ^_^

Well, I don't necessarily have a solid height figured out- I only have a relative height. Takai has grown this last year, and now, the average person comes up to about her hip or upper-thigh. I've remained the same height, and now I come up to Takai's knee, which equates to most people's hip or belly button.
I think this chart may have been more confusing than informative. I need to eventually have a better reference for all this. XD

Naw, Shaia is Kawaii's. The mark you see there is Shaia's height when she jumps on Vash's head. I thought it was funny, so I put it in as a joke... I don't think most people got it though.

Actually, she does that all on her own. It's odd, I'll wake up and go in the living room, and she'll just be standing there, looking out the window. It's pretty weird!

Takai can get in fine, it just takes a little squirming to get through the door, and she has to be careful about standing up straight.
We had picked out the apartment before her most recent height increase, so if she were still 8'2", she'd be able to stand up no problem. I think when our lease is up, we may have to look into a loft apartment. XD

Well, she can sit straight without a problem. She's not that huge, and our apartment ceilings are still pretty high. She just has a little problem getting around inside the apartment, particularly through the bedroom doors and in the closet.

Well, the closet is pretty much hers. Her nice tops and jeans hang pretty much to the floor (the length of an average person's full-length dress), and for larger garments like sun-dresses we put in a small crossbar near the ceiling. Takai owns a lot of shoes, and those take up most of the storage space along the side of the dresser. Besides the fact that her shoe size is pretty big in itself, quite a few of them are heels, wedges or platforms, so the space fills up quickly. Of course, with all that stuff in there, she has a bit of a problem fitting in such a confined space. Usually I'll end up being the one crawling around in the closet looking for 'that one top she wore last year at that thing'. XD
