... Vaulted Ceilings a Must.Hello everyone!
This little non-comic (I say non- because it's only one panel. Otherwise it'd be like saying you have a sandwich cookie when you only have half of an Oreo and no creme filling) is a scene we encountered a few times while trying to find a suitable place to live. You'd never think it was so hard to find a place Takai could stand up straight in. Just what are they thinking when they design these places?

Wonder what you would do with the theme of 3 girls talking. Two average height, one pretty Tall and than this very Tall girl walking by..
and of course the text from one of the 2 average girls "I thought you were tall" .. a great image to work with face-expressions.

I'm confused about this picture. Judging how's she's leaning, howntall is Kawaii in this picture? She seems to be as tall as the door frame or the top of the window, so she seems more like 7' tall, rather than her usual height.

Well, I've had a few comments like this, and really, I didn't mean to draw her taller than normal, it was just a tricky angle and position. XD

I'm too much of an annoying inconsistency spotter to not talk about, but I'm too much of a fan and/or too afraid of Deviantart to not complement one of my favorite artists on the way out.

And I'm not on the way out! Not yet! I just have a lot going on right now. I still draw every day, but I haven't had enough time to sit down and finish coloring and shading a picture! (I can draw and color on the train, but shading requires me to actually sit at my computer for extended periods of time.)

Well, in all honesty, we're both quite a bit more normal-scaled in reality. ^_^ I'm afraid it'd probably be anti-climactic, seeing as we're both pretty average (albeit weird in our own ways) people.

Well in this picture, she was about 9'1". She's more around 9'5", so even the raised ceilings of our current apartment aren't offering much headroom.

OnO! Oh WOW! WIth that height it makes me curious about all kinds of things like where does she shop for clothes, and does her height give her any health problems, like extra strain on her heart, etc.

As for health problems, no, Takai's fairly healthy. She gets a bit claustrophobic in crowds though, because of her size.
A lot of her clothes are bought off the rack and modified (we have several sundresses that have been converted into tops) and others are either special ordered or made by her mother, who's a pretty good tailor, even if her choice in fabrics is a little eccentric.
There are other things that cause us some issue, though. When we go to find her shoes, she rarely ever finds anything in her size. Also, when we go out to eat, if we get a booth, she generally has nowhere to put her legs, and the table tends to cut into her stomach. If we get a table though, her legs usually stretch out past the opposite seat, so either way, it makes things a little awkward.

You know, there was a story on one british family that had their home made specifically for their tall statures, you could ask them for some tips.

I think the first tip they would suggest would be "Get rich, and buy a house." We can't afford anything but an apartment at this moment, so Takai just has to crouch. She's grown a bit since we moved in here, though- we're considering moving back into her mother's house to save some money and to give her a little more headroom. ^_^
