Love at First Height: Chibi and Takai's First MeetingWhen Takai and I first met in person, she was flying in from the East Coast, and I was picking her up from the airport. I had a dozen of peach-colored roses I knew she'd like, and I was there extra-early standing in front of the checkpoint for Terminal A, wearing my nicest T-shirt and jeans (they were the pair without rips in the knees).
I'm waiting there, and the time comes, it passes, and finally I get a phone call. Takai's looking around, but she doesn't see me anywhere. She tells me her gate, and lo-and-behold, her plane parked on the other side of the airport in Terminal D. I proceeded to take off at a full sprint across the airport, running as fast as my stubbly little asthmatic legs butt could go.
As you can see, we did run into each other eventually. <3

I hope everyone is having a wonderful New Year's Eve. I've been taking some holiday time this month, so I'm just getting this month's Patron's Choice posted up on Patreon, and last months up everywhere else. To be honest, I'm really happy with this picture. I still remember that day so clearly - and something tells me I always will.
