He looked up to see his wife float three muffins out of the nearby picnic basket, long, thin labels reading 'Eat Me' dangling perilously from each as they drifted through the air. She adjusted herself on the relatively small quilt, scooting closer and closer to the small pony before plopping square on top of him. As she smiled down at her husband, a considerable bite from the first muffin already in her mouth, it became abundantly clear that he wasn't going anywhere anytime soon.Hi folks!
So it's been a while since I finished a pony picture (holy crap, February?!) and I had a hankering to do one after the last couple of episodes, so I sat down with this old sketch and lined and colored it. I know I mentioned on Patreon the possibility of a story accompanying this, but there wasn't enough there for a whole short story. I do kind of like how that excerpt works though. I might write more of those with my pictures.

Actually, they have met! (And Takai's pony is named Tea Biscuit, and mine's Cee Biscuit. ^_^)
When Daisini was younger, Tea Biscuit was a substitute teacher in her town for a period. She didn't really find out about Daisini's condition until she caught her students sneaking into the schoolhouse one night. I'd like to think they still keep in touch.

I've been busy. x_x I ended up on a high-profile project at work, and I've been doing nights and weekends on it since... I think the worst is over (for now), but now I'm so behind on things I know I have a ton to catch up on!
