Oh boy. I think I'll let explain this one:~hvk
Ah, Science! It's given us lasers, improved health, more lasers, space shuttles, increasingly nicer silly hats, and now promises of perpetual cuteness written in genetics! Is there anything Science can't do?!
Now, once my plan to create an elite group of adorable giant lady superheroes with GIANT ROBOTS AND POWER ARMOR AND ALSO TALKING DINOSAUR-DRAGON SIDEKICKS all throught the power of Science and done for GREAT JUSTICE, no one's gonna argue with Science then! Beccaus who doesn't like adorable giant ladies who are cute?!
CRAZY PEOPLE, THAT'S WHO. And if they're crazy, no one will listen to them anyway, so it's a moot point.

Takai liked his comment so much, she decided to... well, suggest insist that I make it my next SaD. Damn, if it isn't complicated though. Buildings, cars, Cheesasaurus Rex and a mech? Yeah, that's a little hard to all fit in the same frame. XD
But we did it anyways.

Can you be a little more specific? If it's the quality of the drawing, I can't help that much. I have a limited time during the day, and the point of these sketches isn't to make something polished, it's to have fun and ensure I devote at least some time every day to art.
Now, if it's something like the scan quality, maybe I can work on that. (I know there's a lot of eraser marks too, but I made a lot of changes in this one, and after a while, you just aren't able to fully erase things

I think if the outlines were darker it would do the trick. Also, more contrast would help, just saying... I'm an amateur, don't take me seriusly

The problem I have there is that darker lines require a softer lead, and I really dislike the way it feels when I draw with those... Plus, it gets graphite smudges all over the paper, and I have to sharpen them constantly. The contrast I can work on though.
Also, I'm an amateur too. Nobody's paying me for my artwork. ^_^

Good, just very busy. I really like my new job, but it's much more difficult than my last position. The good news though is it pays more, so we're finally getting our financial bearings and moving on in our life (looking at getting a house and all that jazz. ^__^ )

That's awesome. I'm currently just finishing moving into a new place (getting out of my parent's house, finally), so I kinda know what you're talking about. I'm working two jobs now and really taking some time with the whole work scene, instead of just screwing around and not doing much. It really is great to see you working and posting again, though. It seems like a lot of people are coming back, so maybe I'll have to pick up the old keyboard again and start writing, or ye old camerae and snapping shots! As per usual, though, I'm loving your work and it really is great to see you pop up on my subscription feed!

Yay for new places! Takai and I are going out later today to drive by some houses. Spending a little time on work can never hurt... I do hope you start writing again though. I've found since coming back that drawing in my spare time has done wonders for my mood. It makes a huge difference.

Zomgoodness Chibi this is just.... flipping awesome. I read through all the SaD comments before posting my own and lawled hard at this one over all XD. I'm happy to see you drew it because I would have probably had to draw something myself in spirit of it hehehe.
Takai is so adorable in her leotard and cape. I also love that the glasses made it in here too, but I wonder if she should not wear them if not to throw off bystanders from her usual mild-mannered look

This one was just to fun to pass up... And Takai insisted, so i couldn't really say no. ^_^
Y'know, at first, I didn't know what a leotard was... Because I drew her in a yoga outfit, and she actually had to correct me and explain to me it's what gymnasts wear. XD I'm really glad the shoes came out, too... I had to redraw them a few times, I have a really hard time drawing shoes at that angle, so a lot of times I try to avoid that by having characters stand at different positions (I cheat). XD
