But don't worry! Because next week's story is gonna make up for it for a mile! Because story no.16 is actually one of my favorites.

Remember my comment in story no. 13 about the "normal monster" phrase and how I will gonna bitch about it later? Well, here it comes:
Oh yeah! That's normal! Monsters breathe fire ALL THE TIME, right?
Actually, that's not the main reason I kept that phrase for later, but what's going on now DOES have a connection to what will come later on.
I know you're probably sick of hearing me saying "it'll all make sense later" but that way I could blow your fucking mind when we'll get there (The story where it'll all make sense is story no.28, btw.)
Just so you'll know: This comic actually has two big twists and this chapter is connected to one of them.
Unfortunately, that's all I can tell you for now.

I only recently started watching Game of Thrones, and I started listing to the audio book last night. Still this has to be one of my top three favorite scenes.Β www.youtube.com/watch?v=IU2bIz... So I got a huge kick out of this.

Yeah, Daenerys is my favorite character. I haven't seen the third season yet, but I have red all the books.
I'm probably one of the only people who actually call her Daenerys and not khaleesi.

I call her Daenerys as well, sometimes I'll call her Danny like the book does. Hell even George knew how tasking her full name would be to say all the time. And yeah, Daenerys is my favorite as well. I want her to cross the Narrow Sea so bad.Β
Well I started listening to the audio book on youtube, because I was shocked to see it on youtube. I have about sixteen hours left on A Game of Thrones. George, you're a masochist for writing these books to the length of a New York City phone book, and we are sadists for reading them.
So far my favorite scene of all is when Jon Snow says he will train some of the Night's Watch, and the current trainer says he would have an easier time teaching a wolf how to juggle. To which Jon replys "I would love to see Ghost juggle." I can just imagine Ghost on his hind legs, and start juggling balls.Β

I don't think George is sadistic enough- did you know the first book came out in 1996 and the fifth book came out in 2011 and there are still two more books in the series that he hasn't finished? Like, what the fuck is taking him so long?! Can't he have people to help him or something?
J. K. Rowling finished the Harry Potter series in 10 years, and I know they aren't as long- but come on!
Yeah, I don't know why, but I just don't like Jon Snow as much as say Danny or Tyrion.
Yeah- he's everyone's favorite character or whatever, but whenever I got to a chapter about him I'm not all that interested.Β
It's not that he isn't an interesting character, because he is, I just want to hear more about other characters.
There are just so many interesting characters in those books that it's hard to pick- If Jon would have stood alone and was an only main character- then he would be really interesting.
Like in the trilogy of the "Farseer" books- the main character is really similar to Jon Snow (So mush so that I wanted to make a drawing of these two together and do "VS battle") but there he really shines on his own because there aren't as many interesting characters as him.

Yeah, and George voiced concern that by the time Game of Thrones catches up to the books, he might not be finished with the books. Maybe George doesn't ask for help, because he doesn't want his vision tainted. Although with all the backlash everyone has toward A Feast for Crows, maybe it wouldn't be the worst idea. Even though he apparently did bounce back with A Dance with Dragons. You never know, The Winds of Winter scheduled to come out next year could suck. And I agree with the notion of when you write a series, by the time you reach the final book to write, you must remember that it will be the last time your audience will see your characters. You must send them off with a bang, nothing frustrates an audience more, than a disappointing climax. From what I heard, there are those who believe that Rowling failed to do that with the Deathly Hallows. George has a good mentality, he doesn't want to disappoint the fan base. So if it takes time, it takes time. All good things, to those who wait.
I like Jon, but I liked the mental imagery that I came up with. I have an Airedale that's on his hind legs most of the time, so it's not hard for me to imagine Ghost on his hind quarters juggling with his front paws. I agree that if Jon was the only character you followed on The Wall, then it would be better, but I don't mind. I would like more of the other characters, but Jon is not the worst character to follow. That would be Bran. I have nothing against Bran, but his viewpoint is dull.Β

Oh, yeah, the deathly hallows ending was a piece of shit.
Beside- the more you look into it- Harry Potter kinda sucks. I mean I loved it when I was a kid but the more it progresses I began to notice numerous plot holes.
But, yeah. I would rather wait longer and get a good book then have all the books quickly but then have them all sucking.

That's the thing, stuff you like as a kid, has a nasty habit of biting you in the ass later in life. I never read Harry Potter, I tried, but I could never get involved. That's why I don't read a lot, it's hard for me to find a book, that is engaging. But I seem to have done so with the ASOIAF series. Even though I started watching the show first, I do find that the books are awesome. And yeah, I will wait as long as it takes. I don't want another Mass Effect.
P.S. Is a Feast for Crows really that bad?

Not really. I thought the second book was more boring.
Nobody likes a Feast for Crows because it focuses on the side characters, but I still thought it was pretty interesting.

Also, I now see why you hate the second book. I'm barely into A Clash of Kings, and I have to put up with Patch Face the Jester. I fucking hate jesters. Their the clowns of the medieval era, and clowns have never been funny. Damn you George, of all the things you had to get right, why did you have to remember jesters?!Β

I've never read Farseer, and I've yet to see a jester character that was awesome. Patch Face is fucking annoying. I'm praying that Stannis has Patch Face burned as a sacrifice for R'hlorr. Failing that, maybe Davos can kill the jester. All I can say is thank the Old Gods, that they kept Patch Face out of Game of Thrones.Β

I can't control EVERYTHING that comes out of my characters mouths.
I think dragons are cool, and, come to think about it, they're usually portrayed as smart beings while monsters are portrayed as primal beastly creatures. So...
