Taking self portraits with a DSLR is even harder because they are so much heavier!

Concur.

I take my F2 from 1972, film, and compare it to my D90 or D200 (diggie) and there's a big difference in weight. And then you take the cell phone camera...don't need a tripod for the latter, versus what we are hauling around to make photo art.

I try to be zen once in awhile... it doesn't work so well. Need more incense.
