Unfortunetly, it goes to Dragon Ball fandom where many characters look similar, so she used this as a reason to defend her 'originality' and other people supported her.
But you know what is the best? She said she was making this character by 2 years and her sister was helping her in it. Yeah.... it was very creative...

If it was only pathetic... now many people support her and they hate me for saying those words. She can't even draw properly and she has over 300 watchers. All are on her side.

Wow, that's terrible :I
My sister is a pretty good artist and she only has... like... 50. Really sad.
If it's not too personal or anything can you share her username? I'm not going to bitch at them or anything stupid like that.

For my "Non-Fanfiction" project I'm working on I have written out a rough outline of the main eight characters. For example, the main protagonist, Lucas Hill, is a thirteen year old at the start of the project, and twenty five in the epilogue of the project. The deutagnist, Amber McCormack, is thirteen at the start and in the epilogue she is twenty-four while the triagnist, Harold Rivers is twelve at the start but turns thirteen halfway through, and by the end he is twenty-four years old. But I have put them through character development quite a bit, and they as well as the other characters, have interesting backstories.

I'm still working on traits for my main Ever After High OC, Isidore. As I read more of his parent's story, I choose aspects from the story to put into him.

I have created many OCs, many of which I've scrapped because they were absolutely perfect. It didn't make any of the writing fun or realistic.
When I finally came up with Ama (the first OC I experimented with for several months), I was very conflicted; what should I name her, how should she behave, what will her history be? How will she look, how will she dress, where will she live, how will she develop?
I chose the name Ama because it sounded INCREDIBLY easy to remember and all to normal, like the name Meg. She behaves like me, her history is based on a really good friend of mine, and though she's a demi-goddess, she is also human, and I make her human attributes stand out way more than her demi-goddess attributes.
All in all, I had a lot of fun creating her. I'm also surprised on how readers relate to her. I was told that she was one of the most realistic OCs out there, and that made me feel good!

Even if my OCs are based from real people, they have becoem their own characters, and personalities! I love them all, and give them certain ideas to make them who they are!

Yep this is me... I make a character... scrap them... feel sorry and come back to them, spend five weeks ironing the kinks out of their personality and visual appearance. Spend another week and a half plotting out the backstory and occasionally re-doing their personality again. Spend another week and a bit developing their weaknesses, likes and dislikes (and major abilities...).
Or on occasion I simply make a character, draw them, quick personality overview and decide that their fine... and then develop them loads more when I come back and decide that they're much too flat... although Zara ( fav.me/d6guxpd ) Had about five day's spent just on her personality... as for her companions they're still being worked on and her family? I have yet to solidify her mother's design while all her father has is a name...
Also I usually spend about a month overall just on the backstory and ironing out any plotholes in it... so yeah I work hard on my OFCs

I love my OCs alot. But I always seem unhappy with how they come up and constantly change and retcon things. In other words. I just can't decide on how to make Piwi to be. Her current backstory i'm planning is her being an artificial girl made by scientists in Victoria Enterprises who was eventually sent off on her own and was eventually adopted by
quail and a green as their daughter at a young age.
(logic does not exist in my Original universe) She was made as fighter. But generally fast and somewhat powerful but lacks in defense and is generally very very stupid and her attacks are easy to dodge once enraged. who has a rayman-esque cockatiel for a younger brother. I'm keeping a bit of that backstory.
I'm still working her personality. I just can't really decide on making her either a short-tempered sociopathic moron that's generally the mockery of her classmates. Or a person who generally has a huge interest in exploration trips and treasure. But tend to easily get in over her head and travel off of her teacher's set path. Causing her and her following classmates to die a lot during them.
I just don't feel exactly 100% on her current one. Can you help?

It took me a day to come up with a name.
It took me a week to develop his personality
It took me a year to get him on DA.
It took me forever to develop his storyline. And it's still going.

But yeah, I put hours into my OCs, if not days. I usually come up with the story first before I start making characters, though...And it's an ongoing process even when the story is being posted. I often ask my readers for feedback and I'll make revisions when necessary.

I love this stamp , I spend too much thought into mine lol and I am always changing them and adding detail, and many times people don't even realize the hard work unless they also put in hard work, I guess the issue is that OCs that don't have much thought put into them or re-colors get more attention.
