Because I know I'm not the only one that found evolving in this game to be downright ridiculous. I seriously wanted to punch Manaphy for taking his sweet ol' time to unlock the Marine Resort mission... defeating Dialga and Palkia twice was not fun. At all. <_< >_>But now at least I have an awesome Feraligatr and a non-suicidal Infernape.
Pokemon belongs to Nintendo and Gamefreak.

BTW, despite the hassle of evolving, I did love this game. A lot.
EDIT1: Oh, to anyone that might run in and scream SPOILER. Meh, bugger off. I don't care.

The weirdest thing is, once you evolve, you don't sleep. I was a Riolu with a Vulpix as a partner, and I could only evolve my Riolu into Lucario,(I couldn't find a Fire Stone...) and in the morning the Lucario is standing next to the sleeping Vulpix like a creeper......

I know how you feel. They don't let you evolve early in the game because the creators are too damn lazy to make just a few sprites of the evolved forms and the mood icons. In other words, they just want to force you to be cute and cuddly throughout the whole game! It sucks especially if you're an Eevee or a NORMAL type pokemon. -_-

The expressions make it, especially on your Chimchar partner. I loved Manaphy entirely too much, myself...damn his impossible cuteness. Luckily, I didn't mind being a Skitty for most of the game.

Just feed Dialga a Hunger seed, and every move he uses on you only takes away 1 HP. Worked alot for me!

I died a lot in that game... it's very bipolar for me. Reviver seeds. Lots and lots of reviver seeds.

Yeah, I got Manaphy in my Pearl game, but I didn't get it via Pokemon Ranger, if you know what I mean.
However, this is for Pokemon Mystery Dungeon 2... he ends up playing a semi-important role in that game.
