Finally decided on an appearance for Wally's daughter (Iris West II) as she appears in Paradigm Ethic. This is her Lady Flash look. As the first bearer of the Flash mantle that's a woman, she has a lot to live up to.I'd really like to color this. I like how it came out.
Iris appeared in Kingdom Come and was modified to fit into DCAU timeline. This backstory and appearance are my concoction, though her basics remain the same (daughter of Wally West and Linda Park, twin brother named Jai, is a speedster, follows in Wally's footsteps, etc). Paradigm Ethic is my brainchild.

She was not the first female Flash, that was Ivana Christina Borodin Molotova. Sorry, it just bugs me that everyone is doing the stupid Lady Flash II...

I know not everyone knows this, but during the Terminal Velocity storyline Jessie Quick became the Flash because Bart wasn't ready and Wally didn't feel like he would be ready anytime soon. So technically Jessie Quick would be the first female Flash, and Iris would be the second. None the less really cool depiction. I can't wait to see how you do up the colors on this one.

I think I remember that. I'd probably fix it up there to have her the second female Flash, but the Quicks and Bart didn't exist in cartoon continuity, which is where Paradigm Ethic takes place.

Sorry if I seemed rude. I just knew that Johnny Quick was a part of the Justice League Unlimited team for a short time. Then I knew that you had Jason White as your Superboy so I assumed that you were pulling from both cartoon and comic as well as movie. I don't think Iris West has shown up in the cartoon verse either to be honest.
As for the colors I just really want to see what your going to do with them. The Iris West in Kingdom Come was really awesome.

Well, I pulled from a lot of sources to put characters into PE. I didn't want to create a whole cast from scratch... and a lot of characters in the cartoon canon are altered from their original appearances and origins (Wally is a particularly good example). And there are a lot of things I'm taking from the comics. Though you are right, I am drawing a lot on the comics. The backstories had to be altered to work with the animated storyline, though. :3

I assumed that you were making things your own. I just wandered more then anything if you knew about Jessie Quick's stint at being the Flash. As for Wally in the animated Universe they never really go too much into detail on his past. At least to my knowledge. As for Kingdom Come, well, your just preaching to the choir.
