It's not too often I do fan art these days, but DAMN, Legend of Korra deserves some
This piece was basically prompted by two things; the eyesex in that last episode, and Steve Blum's superdupersexyfine voice 
I started off a Makorra shipper, but Mako's been an ass, and I think I'm picking up some Zutara nostalgia in Amorra. /gets shot... and I feel sullied and dirty for multishipping this season D';
Anyways, this doesn't even have to be taken in a romantic context. Take it as you will.

I multishipped all season, too. First Makorra, some Tahorra, then Amorra, and Borra is kinda cute in it's own way. Not to mention BumixLin, IrohxEverybody, JinoraxSkootchy...whatever happens I think I'll love.
I love how..hot Amorra just is. It's dirty like my RavenxSlade pairing, but It feels so good to indulge in.

I was originally a Mokorra shipper too, but I ended up falling in love with this pairing after reading this: [link] Afterwards, it was all over for me. Besides, I feel like Mike and Brian are attempting to replicate the success of Zutara. Instead, it feels kind of forced to me...again (cough, Kataang, cough).
Amorra is just so much more twisted and wrong and delicious. Two contrasting personalities and ideals battling for dominance? Yes please.

At first it was cute, until Mako started becoming a manwhore D; I'm hoping Amon starts to become a Zuko-like character, though; starts off as a villain and comes to redeem himself and work with the team. I hope, but I doubt. If that is what they're trying to do, though, they need to realize it's more than the looks and the personalities that we liked about Zutara. And I'm certain that my love for Zutara has been influencing my adoration for Amorra as well

I feel like it could've been a sweet pairing, but like I said, I feel like they're trying too hard to turn Makorra into the new Zutara. They saw how popular Zutara was with the previous series and probably believe they're doing what the fans want this time. Obviously they still have much to learn.
In some ways I want his character to grow and have his ideals waver but at the same time I'm loving the cold-hearted badass Amon even more. I firmly believe that half the reason I love this pairing is BECAUSE it's twisted and fucked up. But that's just me...
I know right?! I've had her on my alert list for YEARS and though she rarely posts anything these days, when she does I freaking foam at the mouth in excitement. When this beauty showed up in my inbox a few days ago, I totally screamed for joy...in public. Granted I glanced at the pairing for a split second, but her writing is so fantastic that it was of little consequence at the time. She can make me read ANYTHING. And then I read it...and I'm never going back. Amorra FTFW!!

This is really beautiful. There's a lovely air of resignation here. He has her pinned, but it doesn't feel creepy at all. You can feel that they're both tired of running and chasing, and they might as well just drop the masks and get it over with. And the quote fits the situation perfectly.

I can't do fan art, the characters I want to draw never look the way they actually do in any way shape or form. Sigh, I guess my drawings will never get the million hits all the naruto fan art does.

That's the sort of fanart I like; the characters in someone else's different style.
