Description This was a longer and much more meaningful exercise in how to mix the right colours. Previous exercises of painting colour wheels was the prep work for this.

The protruding small rectangle in the top right corner is the original patterned paper. The rectangle around that is painted to match the exact colours. The next rectangle are the exact compliments of each colour. The following rectangle is the exact opposite hues of the original colours. The before last rectangle is the exact opposite intensity of the original colours, and the final rectangle is a return to the original paper colours.

Needless to say, this was very detailed, patient and sometimes frustrating work, trying to mix the right colours. But the end result is pretty good, though I think some colours are slightly off from what they should be.

Ooohhh, nifty! I would have gone crazy just from drawing the leaves in the first place, let alone painting. x_X

I have to admit that the leaves where very painstakingly long to paint...
