Description
Like the title says, this represents the first generation. First generation of what, you say? The first generation of my friends, of our gang, the ones that got together first.. ect. It's really not that specific, but it does represent, to me, my friends and my High School years.

This is a three part project, since, obviously, this does not represent all my friends. More come along a little later, and some quite quickly after this initial group. So do not fear! You will all be drawn in the next two generations. ^^

Aside from the friends concept of the picture, I decided to make things more fun (or more complicated, depends on how you look at it...) by only using red, green, black and white for the clothes colors. Originally it was only red, green and black, but that gave me too many problems... I think it looks pretty good with those colors, and the next drawings will also have the same color restrictions.

Now from left to right, I'll name the people and say what I like or dislike from that persons drawing.

Christine: I love her hair (as well as everybody else's), and her clothes. This is not clothes that she would have been wearing years back, but more today. But the hair is pretty close to what it was back then. As for portraying her, I find it looks like her. I don't really hate anything from Christines drawing lol.

Manon: I think she doesn't quite look how she's supposed too, and yet again, this is more the clothes that she is wearing now and not then. Her hair though used to be like that, with the braid in the front (yes, it's a braid!). And I think I made her a little too short, and her left arm is too long... and I think the hands are too big 0.o;

Charles: Well, I'm quite proud on how he turned out! ^^ He actually really resembles him from back then, and he's actually wearing clothes from back then as well! (He suggested I draw him in that shirt since it's his fav). I think he might be just a little too tall for back then, but besides that, he is well drawn.

Julie: (yes, Julie! Remember now?) I think I did a good job on her, and I think I love her hair the most. I don't like drawing glasses though... And again, she might be too short, but I'm not sure. I think she would not have worn those clothes back then, but it's pretty close to what she actually did wear.

Me: Well, it's me with longer hair, but with modern clothes. I actually DO have those clothes though, compared to some of the other people. I think I did alright with it, but I think it could use some work to look a little more like me... And I don't really like the shadows on this one. And glasses again... -_-;

Natalie: This I find looks a little like her, but I think that I could have done a little better. This is the type of clothes Natalie would wear back then... well maybe not that far back... but still ... Her hair is long like it was, and well, she's doing the peace sign she just loves to do! ^^ I don't like how I drew her legs though.

And finally, i drew this picture on plain paper (quite crappy actually) with colored art pencils, then traced with a HB pencil. I then colored with Prismacolor pencils and then I traced the outline again with a black art pen. I thne scanned it and did the background in photoshop 7.
