Description
The amazing Claude Frollo on MySpace has been running with a dark crowd these days. Bloodthirsty creatures of the night who threaten his wife-to-be Esmeralda's safety. As a mortal, he cannot fend them off. His age took away his strength, and faith alone could not stop them.So, what does he do?
Gets sired and turned into a vampire.
That's right, guys. This is the same Frollo, but he will forever remain around the age of twenty in appearance. Softness and beauty still are contrasted by the jading of many years on his soul.
Why did such a devout man of faith choose to become a vampire, you ask?
Claude Frollo himself explains:
"Frollo believes that because he is sacrificing his life for Esmeralda, he will at least be sent to the limbo of Purgatory as opposed to the reaches of Hell. He will retain his faith with even more devotion. But his bloodlust combined with raging libido means he might not have a lot of control."
I think that's EXTREMELY plausible, and this roleplayer plays Frollo perfectly down to a very science. They're amazing.
So all of you people ready to flame me for "destroying your fandom", fuck you kindly. It's not yours alone.
Claude had asked me to do a portrait of sorts of this new, younger version of him (and had promised me a naughty Clopin/Frollo fanfic in return >:3) and, even though I had a lot of difficulty at first, I've grown to like this. I like the sketch a little more, but I like this final product nonetheless. ...don't comment on the sun coming from the window. I realized that a second ago. X3

Nah, I don't really read Anne Rice. I just like the movie rendition of Interview with the Vampire because Louis ALMOST made out with Armand and Lestat. X3 <3 INCHES away from each face.

I KNOW! I'd love to see more Frollo around, but the people that do draw him are few and far between and then most of the ones that do, their pictures are crappy ripoffs of screenshots. I hope to see more good Frollo art soon. D:

Very nice! Love the idea. Too bad for Frollo he forgot that to suck blood, you kinda hafta to kill the person, and killing is a straight ticket to innermost reaches of Hell. You know, for Catholiscism and such. Plus just being a vampire in the first place means you're automatically some kind of minion of the devil. *is a big theology/mythology nerd*

Very nice pic here. He looks a bit meek in his pose. Nice job on the lighting, and I've somehow got a thing for the curtains. The little doodads ont he table add a nice touch too. Makes it look more full and somehow gives it more, 'personality' But I do have a question, if the window is open, and there's light there, and he's a vamp, shouldn't there be an effect? I can somehow picture the continuation of this pic being him dodging around things screaming XD

Then again, vampires aren't supposed to revert to younger years when they're sired, are they? Since an exception was made in that small rule so Frollo could regain his youth, maybe he can withstand the sun as well.
