Yay it's my first tutorial! ^^ And it's done with a K-on! fanart,lol. But okay, I know I didn't cover eyes in this tutorial, but I
guess I'll make another tutorial for that later. So I'll upload the
lineart I used in scraps in a minute, for those who want to
practise.

I do have a question though... how do you separate the lineart from the background? I scanned in my art and couldn't figure out how to do it *sweat* lol

Well I think theres a way to darken up those ink lines to make them appear better, but that won't sepperate them from the background. The easiest way is to trace it digitally.

Great tutorial! But I have one problem, when I've coloured each part and locked each layer, I can't shade on it because its locked? Can you help? Thanks

Thanks~ ^^ Are you sure you locked them with the one that looks like a checker pattern? Cause if you lock it with the one that actually looks like a lock, it won't let you paint on it
