Is this waterproof? If it is, then I'm getting it!! lol. I have a hearing aid, so this one looks pretty cool, wish it had a skin over it, though.

You know, I totally didn't consider the waterproof thing until after it was finished. I think adding a cool sliding hatch made out of umbrella fabric in front of the nylon mesh opening might do the trick for when necessary, like in heavy rain or bathing... what do you think? I seriously considered a feature in which you could change the appearance to different skin colors or even ANY color... but I really wanted to see it in gun metal first, and my time was limited to paint it. Thanks for your imput!

oh, well in my mind the hatch thing wouldn't even look any different in color or size than where the opening of canal is... it would just slide seemless in front of it... but easier imagined than realized :3 Thanks again!

I like it, but have no use for it. I don't have any deaf freinds or living family either. My great grandmother who passed last year could have used one though.

Actually, if it were to exist in the futuristic setting of the movie, anyone could get one (or two) as if upgrading themselves, with the right funds of course... Otherwise send out its Repo Men to "retrieve" its merchandise.
