These lines are from my deviation "Drizzle." You can find my colored version if you click that link. --> [link]Ergh, these lines are a lot thicker than those from my usual lineart. That's what felt so off. ): Forgive me; it's been a while.

Nah, it's SAI, I swear. /o\ I just use the smoothening feature and go back over my lineart with the eraser tool.

S-7 for lineart. ~5 for sketching, erasing. Does wonders. \o/ Completely fool-proof.
Then I go over and vary the line thickness with the eraser. For some reason, it reminds me of fixing liquid liner. I feel like I have an severe misunderstanding on how makeup works.
Basically, it's not really talent. Just time. <:

B-but taking time to do all that is talent in itself I think.
You put so much thought into the whole process. I just think of what I want to draw and spend a while sketching it all out, but after that my motivation dies orz

Yeah, it's pretty interesting seeing our different approaches to things like drawing. I don't think formulas work for me since I'm terrible at that stuff, but it suits you well :]
