I never understood how small pokemon could carry a human over the water. That's why I use pokemon like Lapras or my favorite-Cloyster. Hey, I might get wet, but it is faster than say, a marill.

Hehe, even better idea, I hear Pikachu can learn surf ( not remember how ), try to surf on Pikachu than.
Also Raichu surf looks alot better in pokemon stadium game, he surf on his own tail, thats cool.
Also, why you need surf to get across water, is not just simply ability to swim what water pokemon have enoght.

That's why I usually teach surf to my Tentacruel. I feel guilty having tiny pokemon surf/fly me around. XD
They should have an HM where you can ride on a large pokemon's back to run faster! 80
