In case you're wondering why Sally is in this current state, give me a moment to explain.

This Sally here is a tad different than her canon counterpart. So in that case, a few things in her history have been altered.

Originally I was planning for Sally to be tragically killed off during Robotnik's invasion on what was believe to be the 'last stand' for Mobians- South Island. It was supposed to be a wake up call for Sonic to stop running from his fears and face them, least he lose any other dear friends like Sally.

As you can see, that idea was scrapped, because I felt kinda bad in the end. ;_;

Of course, that doesn't mean she doesn't get away without any problems. Instead of being killed, a Egg Golem hand raises its fist to smash Sonic, but instead hits Sally. She survives, but as a result she is unable to walk for many years, and faces near-paralysis in the legs.

This leads to her being stuck on South Island, unable to accompany her friend with finding Power Rings and the Chaos Emeralds on his adventures. Even with the use of communication devices by Miles 'Tails' Prower to help aid Sonic once more, Sally still desires to be able to explore the world-after all, what more was there to worry about anymore if you were able to survive an attack from an Egg Golem?

Sonic is often busy keeping the planet of Mobius safe free from Dr. Robotnik's reign, but whenever he gets the chance, he always stops by South Island to see one of his best friends and chat about his adventures- the closest Sally will ever get to re-exploring the world once Dr Robotnik's rule comes to an end-forever.

P.S, I think I unintentionally became a Sonally fan through this
