yea ive seen his tutorial before - amazing...

how long do you bake for, and at what temperature? my stuff always ends up burned.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Chicharo In reply to sassamafracken [2007-01-25 14:37:45 +0000 UTC]

less than 100 Β°c like 80Β°c for 1 hr 1/2, the trick is bake them for a good time at low temp. then let them cold in the oven. I'm really sure this help.

In case like this ... you did a nice figure for an anatomy, I think, you can do it for a pair of wings too, just try it.

This one is wonderful! Not only a lovely body, but also a dynamic pose filled with purpose and emotion. Does this all come from your imagination? The muscles seem so perfect, what reference do you use? I think paper wings is a good idea, otherwise you would have to balance them funny (or use a stand), as they'd be much heavier as sculpty wings. The only problem I'd forsee is trying to bake sculpty with paper wings.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Chicharo In reply to avidlebon [2006-11-24 16:23:01 +0000 UTC]

thankyou, about my imagination let's just say i have to stop watch to much t.v., is not an original idea the one i use was made by JOE MADUREIRA you can check his web page and you can see the original. (i wanted to do that one, but some one askme for somethig easier) anyway i put some of my personal style, by the way i'm glad it like you, and about the combination of paper+sculpey+oven is not a very good idea, so you have to make them separately, the sculpture and the wings, for the wings you can use a heatgun (the one you use por dry your hair) that technique avoid the use of the oven so you don't burn the paper. you can use this even if you want much detail. then when the sculpture is allready baked you just add or glue the wings and BINGO you have you sculpture done.
