Description
This is a contest entry for ~chishiu 's drawing contest with the theme, OC in your favorite season~~My favorite is spring~ because that's when everything and everyone seems to be back to life... and just in time, there's this news report i've seen over the internet that cherry blossoms in Japan are in full bloom ( i forgot the exact date... hmpf). I browsed the pictures and cherry blossoms are really pretty~~ so i imagines myself walking down the road with many cherry trees blooming... it'd be really sweet.
I used my nameless OC from the same drawing here:
I used watercolors, colored pencils and colored pens (the one that does the pointillism trick)~

This is very nice, I love the coloring. The perspective seems a tad off since technically the trees should be straight up but these look a little tilted like they are falling down. I feel that the fence throws the bg a bit off since the rest is dotted and having 2 different values draws too much attention to the bg. The petals are all a little random and I find its nice if you know which way the wind is blowing (it seems that it should be blowing to the left.) The outfit is lovely. Overall you could use a bit more of a color scheme since it seems to be kind of all over the place. Also using different colors for lighting/shadows (changing the value and temperature) could make it more interesting.
