Holy sh*t! It's AWESOME!!!! Is it ice really dangling from its belly and chin? And what is that on the pads, fur or scaly barbs to get some traction on the ice? Are those crystals behind the eyes (I'm assuming there's another on the other side) the ears? Sorry about the questions, but I'm a Biology student and I tend to look for all and every detail...
This is just so amazing... *w* Thanks for drawing the best realistic Avalugg I've ever seen!!

Thank you! I actually took the Bulbapedia description to heart and just tried my best to go as realistic in the design as possible. I would think icicles would form on the underside of these guys (if the Bergmites did sit atop its back, I would think some warmth would be generated and cause the snow/ice to melt, then freeze underneath). The scaly barbs are for traction-yes. The crystals are the 'ears' (I don't really know. Lol. I just did my best to translate the original design into this one). As far as the physical appearance goes, I was shooting for a rhinoceros because they are like armored tanks and I thought the transition from a leathery hide into an icy-exoskeleton seemed pretty cool.
