Personality; Tin isn't exactly patient, and often doesn't spend time putting up with things he doesn't care about. When giving his opinion on something, he's very blunt and straightforward, since he doesn't see a point in lying to someone about it. He can be thought of as inconsiderate or rude, although this isn't necessarily the case, as he can be sympathetic when he needs to be. One of the things that Tin seems to love most is knowledge, and will go to great lengths to figure out what he can't understand. Also, he is oddly good at trivia.
When Tin becomes close with another, he becomes almost clingy; wanting to be around them as much as possible, talk to them about theories, or just hang out with them in general. Fiercely loyal to those close to him, he will protect them at the cost of his life, even though he isn't really fit to do be a defender.
However, Tin can be fairly hot-tempered at times, lashing out without meaning to if he gets too frustrated, or simply avoiding someone altogether.

Backstory;
Tinnathan was exiled from the homeplanet of his race when he was very young, due to his odd coloration. Normally, Relecs are dark in color- normally black, navy blue, or royal purple, and those who are lighter-colored are cast off into space inside of a ship, presumably to rot. However, Tin's ship was found by a race of wandering aliens that called themselves Anazonians, and gladly raised the young Relecs on the ship. He learned a lot on his time on the ship, and often made maps of the routes that they would take. However, the space station he was living on was later attacked by pirates, and destroyed. Tin was able to get away on an escape pod, but got set off course from the rest of the pods. He drifted in space, alone, for quite awhile before finally finding a planet where he could stay. Not long after, he joined the Space Garden.

Roleplay example;
Tin sat in his study, eye gazing intently at a holo-book he had taken off of the shelves, several papers with scrawlings on them sitting on the desk. They weren't just drawings, however; they were maps. Maps of the parts of space he had been in, what the Anazonians called them, and how often they passed through certain areas. On the sides he had recorded a bunch of useless information that he had written down just for the sake of knowing them. If one were to walk into his room, they would think that Tin was some strange alien with an obsession. In fact, that's what most of the Anazonians called him- an obsessive. Told him that the reason he didn't have many friends was because all he ever did was read or draw. But he didn't care- he didn't think he needed friends. He had the stars. But something inside of him yearned for company, yearned for someone to share all of his discoveries with.

Personality: Most of the time, Firefly is completely silent, mostly because they don't really have much to say. However, when they do need to speak, they use morse- flashing and dimming it's light to speak. Fortunately for Firefly, Tin took the time to learn morse in the first place. Firefly's personality, however, is a whole different mystery. They can be described as stoic, never giving their opinion and just doing whatever they're told. But maybe, deep down inside, Firefly is something more.
