The beautiful thing about this is how simple you kept it. The colours are not empowering, it's warm and inviting.
The composure of this piece flows wonderfully in the middle - giving a balance of space and a visible object that is placed for focus.
Mighty's expression and posture is very fitting to his personality - a strong, confident, caring, good-guy type.
This is almost like I'm looking at an art-piece on the wall - it's magnificent!

Oh! Haha, I didn't expect this since he went way down in the poll after I commented (jinxed it). So seeing this is even more awesome~ I really like the shades of purple in his shell, and I don't understand how that background works so awesomely well. It's really warm and super simple, but is super effective (lol pokemon...). Anyway, great job!
