EDIT: ...oooook upon downloading I can see some errors I forgot to fix So download at your own risk in seeing some messyness in a few areas. I will fix those problems if you want me to Tinga ^^

......a small kitten's fur ruffled as he jumped with terror, a massive crack sounding from outside as a bolt of stray lightning struck down a mighty oak, somewhere in the distance.

His ears flattened against his head as he gazed sadly out of the misty window pane, the glass vibrating with the booming storm, the curtians beside the window even being billowed a little by the force of the movement. He shrunk back a little and sat on his haunches, his paws between his knees as he looked behind him.

A vixen sat silently in a nearby recliner, watching the rain dribble quickly down the sheets of the window's glass as another flash of lightning appeared, filling the room with light for a split second before the thunder sounded afterwards. All was silent for a long while as little Rune shivered, the coldness of the winter night seeping into his short fur as he looked from the window back at the fox again.

...Rainjha's eyes opened as she heard a small voice mew, "...Aunt Rainjha, am I....... a mistake? Why do we have to keep ourselves from the world?" The ear closest to the young one twitched as she turned his way, her eyes flashing in the darkness. She answered Rune in a matter of fact tone, "Of course not... people just don't understand you're just like them. Not bad, but good."

Rune's nose twitched with confusion as the room flashed momentarily once more. He spoke again, a little softer this time, almost a whisper, as Rainjha slowly and carefully arose from her chair, "....H-...How do you know?" Rune's flashing eyes followed the vixen as she approached, running a hand with thin fingers over the top of his head before she slowly let herself down onto her knees on the floor, resting her elbows on the bed Rune sat upon. She spoke with a small shrug, folding one hand over the other as she looked at him, "Well, when God thought up creation, he had everything planned out exactly as it should be."

Rune's ears perked, perplexed, as his tail flicked back and forth a moment before he squeaked, "...God?" After a moment Rainjha inclined her head a little, closing her eyes a moment before locking him in her gaze once more, "God. He's the father of us all, the enitre universe. He knows everything, sees everything, created everything, loves everyone, including you." Rune's eyes grew wide, but then he pouted then huffed. "No dad would make this happen."

Rainjha's tail swayed a little as she sighed through her nose, looking out the dingy window again as she stared at the full moon, partially hidden by dark clouds and blurred by the sheen of the glass. A slight smile twitched at her lips as Rune inquired again, "...How do you know?" Rainjha's eyes blinked once as she watched lightning flash and stray leaves of the forgotten fall blowe wildly by the window suddenly in the storm, "The Bible, sweetie. It's a storybook. A love story."

Rune twitched his tiny whiskers and glanced out the window again, extremely intrigued, but confused at the same time. Rune jumped as he heard the vixen's voice again, startled by it after the small expanse of silence, "He's not your dad like Mist, he's the ruler of everything. He knows what he's doing. Just wait for it, and you'll see him in heaven to know how much he loves you." "Love is over-rated," he huffed, and Rainjha chuckled.

"God is love, sweetie. The Bible is his words. It may not be exact history, but it is close. I guess your mom and dad didn't tell you much." Rainjha watched as Rune looked back at her with big eyes. "No..." Rune pressed, wiggling under her gaze.

Rainjha suspected as much, for in the time they had been hunted by the government, Mist and Alex probably had not much time to spend....she knew that when they did though, Mist probably attempted to explain, but must not have made much of an impression on his 4-year old son. After a moment of listening to the thunder from the heavens, Rainjha let that small smile appear again, "Do you want to hear one of my favorite phrases God tells me? Everything he tells me, he tells you."

Rune's ears perked with interest as he scooted a little farther from the vibrating window, allowing his back to press against a pillow that dwarfed him in comparison. He pulled his paws close to himself as he shivered and listened to the black fox, a frown on his face. "What?" Rune asked, not meaning to sound to harsh.

Rainjha looked back at the window as she pushed a stray lock of aburn hair from her eyes before murmering gently, "'You are not a mistake, for all your days are written in my book.'"

Rune's eyes widened as he wiggled a little, trying to get comfortable against the pillow as he glanced out of the foggy window again, his thin tail curling about himself. He sighed a little and pulled a paw across his whiskers. He sniffled a little and rubbed at his eyes, trembling and then jumping as the thunder cracked louder than ever outside.

.....was what Aunt Rainjha told him true?

........was.......was he truly not a mistake?

Firstly-

I am really surprised that I was able to pull off the poses, expressions, and perspective in nearly the EXACT way I wanted owo I is so happy <''3

I really hope that Rune is the right size difference compared to Rain Tinga >w<;;; I wasn't exactly sure, so I did what I thought was correct. Oh and before anyone who might notice it says anything, Rune only had black on his muzzle and tail as a kitten. o3o His other black markings came as he got older.

THINGS THAT I LIKE-

-the folds in Rain's shirt, and pretty much Rain overall
-Rune's expression
-Rune's pose (...I didn't fail as bad as I thought! :'D)
-The affect of the moon and rain and stuff through the window
-...can't believe I am saying this, but the shading. I ended up really liking how it turned out, thanks to some photoshop affects
-Curtians, soooomewhat
-The light from the window on the bed/and Rainjha
-Rainjha's FACE. (That muzzle is amazing 8D)

THINGS I DON'T LIKE-

-How I made Rune like, half sitting on the window and half on the bed. .___.
-Rune's right hand and foot
-Rain's right arm/hand
-Hideous bed D|
-Even more hideous background
-The pillow cause it looks too plain D:
-Something about how I positioned Rainjha bothers me. ;~;
-Window's frame (Looks....plain somehow)

Uhhm....I'm not sure what else I can say xD

And yes, Rune is Alex and Mist's future son. >w> ILOVEHIM~! ^W^
