'These flowers, while unnamed in many regions, seem to grow in remote areas. When grown near enough to others, the pollen carried by electric type Pokemon can cause the forming of a Thunderstone inside the sterna. (is that what it's called?) The developing thunderstone provides great nutrition to the plant and causes it to grow larger. This goes on until the thunderstone is at usable size and its weight crushes the plant'

Since I haven't been feeling good this weekend for some reason, I decided to draw something cheerful and bright. This is my entry for the DMAP contest this week over at
I went...TOTALLY out of my comfort zone and painted this from start to finish. x__x Now my hands huuurt
That flower ignores the laws of physics for any flower. It's ugly. IGNORE IT D: Focus on the shiny.
Dunno what purpose it serves really. I'm thinking it has something to do with electricity (perhaps it gives off power and light when it blooms) and that's what drew Emolga to it.

Actually, official artwork is your best bet. Try using Bulbapedia for future reference, cause that has official artwork and front and back sprites. I'm sure that'll work for references.

Oh my gosh, I just fell in love with this pokemon today.
I was playing White and like, found a guy who wanted a Bouldera (whatever they're called lol) for an Emolga. I had no clue what Emolga was, so I was like, sure whatever since they're right in the cave behind me.

I'm kind of overpowered. owo;; My highest level pokemon is a Stoutland because I don't particularly like grass types, and I chose that as my starter. (don't really like the others and what they evolve into) Second is Emolga/servine.

I just beat the fourth gym xD I'm trying to keep all my pokemon as close together in levels as I can :3 I keep swapping them out too xD

Oh oh oh, if you do the mystery gift you can get the liberty pass to get Victini, which is a Psy/Fire type! Very useful for the normal gym leader. It's also at level 24(?) I think. And you can keep battling it until you catch it.
Riiight now I have (no nicknames, I have no creativity. xD I might go back and name them all later) :
Stoutland level 45 (that I met at level 2! XD I'm actually proud of that, I've never done that in a pokemon game.)
Servine level 32 (like I said, not my favorite, but I like how it looks. I'm also a fire trainer.)
Emolga "Minipete" level 49 (I didn't name it XDD I got it from a guy named Manny in a house.)
Victini level 27
Blitzle level 17

What version do you have? I got white because it has more of the..... better seeming pokemon.

I have done the mystery gift yes~ And it's HARD for me to catch for some reason |8C I've wasted almost 10 great balls already. And my Victini is coming up at level 15 for some reason 8D;

Thanks! So far I've only lost a battle once. :3; Against the Ground gym leader. Also I can start to be lazy- I got an Exp. Share xD I noticed that the newer games have easier to level pokemon. Kinda weird.
Ahh, well the main difference is the town of Black City/White Forest. Black city has many items you can get, and White Forest has many pokemon you can catch.
