The cover for the January issue of "Perihelion." [link]I really have no confidence in myself when it comes to drawing sci-fi, so I just drew a warrior fighting an ogre, and added random light-piping. I'm such a hack.

Fortunately, fantasy and sci-fi have become progressively harder to distinguish as genres. Though, I think Elfwood still bans Dwarves with arquebusses from fantasy galleries.

Light piping IS science fiction. It's like when you add cogs to something to make it steampunk. It is a perfectly valid, cheap, cop-out effect.
