^_^ Cute! Though, I'm pretty sure Hama didn't leave Ivan in Kalay, rather, it was Ivan that was given off with Hammet (From Contigo on the Hesperian Continent) I am inclined to believe Hama was there when Ivan came into Hammet's care.

... if i remember correctly it was said in the game that three windadepts approached Hammet and gave him Ivan, and btw telling him that the position Kalay is now in is perfect for trading or so...So okay not in Kalay but w/e Hammet lived. 
that's sadly true... minor characters need more attention >_<

X3 According to Layana in GS1, Hammet was traveling around the edge of the known world (Atteka?) and got into trouble, where wind adepts saved him. They then imparted their advice and dumped him with Ivan XD
