Description
So, for every two photos I took of Sean perfect, he took one of me blurry. Why oh why did I get HIM to take the photo of Jhonen Vasquez signing my JtHM book then?God only knows.
But the blurriness sort of works, I guess. =IAmPhoenixMoth summed it up perfectly below- "It kind of makes me picture the whole thing as excited and kind of flurried." which was exactly what it was like.
Jhonen's Q&A was crappy at first due to bad audio set-up, but then it was quite funny. Some kid asked what the 'Z?' logo meant. People laughed at him. I was amongst them. YEAH!

Have you seen him? I mean, sure, I was expecting him to be as 'noodle boy' as one can be, but his legs were so skinny it was scary to see him walk!

Yeah, true, although really, the highlight of Squee (at least, for me) is all of the Meanwhile's.

aww, ain't he just adorable- BANG, hit with her car. I love those comics...

Ever the swooner, you are!
I find it quite lame that Sydney and Perth are shortchanged by not having guests as awesome as the Melbourne and Brisbane shows... but then again, since I'm only ever in Brisbane and Melbourne, I don't have to find it too lame.
Feel sorry for you, though, having to travel to the other side of the country just to see the people you want to see.
...we should write Mr. Supanova a letter in complaint.

I agree!
This is simply uncanny.
I knew I should of went up and said
'Hi, nice shirt. I'm ashleigh. I harvest spleens.'
What did she do? I've gotta ask her about this later on.
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
chiiildd In reply to TrashcoreDesigns [2009-07-22 10:48:36 +0000 UTC]
Well, she asked where I got the shirt.
I replied "Melbourne",
She then discussed with me her intentions of stealing the aforementioned shirt.
I replied "Uh no, it's mine",
She made it clear that she knew it was mine, but did not really care- hence why she was stealing it, as opposed to offering me a negotiable sum of cash to pay for the shirt.
I replied, in a nice whiny tone, "But it's miiiiine" (I hear girls like whiny tones )
And then something happened and we all lost interest.
Ah, the ol' spleen harvester introduction, eh? One of the best icebreakers since the Titanic, I've found.

Would there be a response that wasn't,
"Um. Go away."
And yes. Girls do like the whiny tones.

chiiildd In reply to TrashcoreDesigns [2009-07-22 11:23:37 +0000 UTC]
Oh my yes, there would've been all sorts of questions following up on the soul harvesting.
For instance:
- Any specific souls, or do you just harvest what you can?
- How does one become a harvester of souls? Do they answer an ad in the paper, or is a Uni course for experience in order? Is there such thing as an apprentice soul harvester?
- What are the rates like? Do you have a dental plan?
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
TrashcoreDesigns In reply to chiiildd [2009-07-23 04:22:02 +0000 UTC]
1. I harvest the best souls. The very best of souls.
You should be honored.
2.One extracts the soul from the ear. You just crash tackle the person, extract the soul with a pinkie finger and place it in a brown paper bag. Do you wish to be my apprentice soul harvester?
3. The rates are good. Cookies on every second week. What more can you want?
And I do all dentistry, pliers and hammers are all you really need to master.
Interested?

chiiildd In reply to TrashcoreDesigns [2009-07-23 08:00:57 +0000 UTC]

TrashcoreDesigns In reply to chiiildd [2009-07-23 08:07:50 +0000 UTC]
I'm sure we can get something arranged. I can even pay you in something different, if you'd really like?
Also, if you don't wish to crash tackle, you could always just hack at their legs? Until they fall on their face, and WIN! Soul, ear extractions
