Abilities: While he should have the ability to move plants and the like, by his species standard he isn't old enough or assertive enough to to do so. His current abilities are:
=Ability to move his own plant parts (such as morphing his pod into legs or the reverse)
=Releasing spores from his shoulder things (not very often, he doesn't really know he can do it yet, just breached the age cusp to be able to do so)
=Talking to plants, which mostly means picking up the feeling coming off of them

Background: Oren's species are a pod species. The burrow into the ground in late fall and stay dormant throughout winter. If spring comes late they will stay under ground until it becomes warmer. In theory if it were constantly warm they would not need to burrow.

Oren came from a particularly small cluster and has an acute fear of humans due to the stories he's heard from other demons. He species is decently harmless despite their size, Oren more so because he is short for his species. The only form of his power he really knows is how to talk to plants and how to morph his own body from pod to legs. If the plants aren't stubborn they'll listen to him but he has such a push-over personality they tend to not listen to him at all.

Extra: He has a deep affection for sweet things, especially orange soda which he had the opportunity to taste when a human left a whole can in the forest unopened.

Oren had been sleeping. Burrowed in the ground with the rest of his pods. There was a rumbling outside that had woken him, and for it to wake him it had to be quite loud. Stay beneath the soil, that had been what he was taught. But damn his fear! He pulled himself from the ground and stumbled away, not even waiting for his legs to fully form. The stumble had made him an open target however because the source of the rumbling was upon him. A great white mechanical beast rolled right up to him and humans exited. He hoped to urge the grass to tangle their feet but he was too scared to communicate with his brethren properly. Too soon were the people upon him, grabbing him and pulling at him and bruising his petals. Suddenly he was thrown into the metal thing and light was shut off. He was scared...too scared...He shakily tried to retreat into his own pod but he could not focus at all, or perhaps he had been suppressed...he did not know. He laid down and shivered against the cold metal, fearing what was to become of him.
