My parents surprised me this weekend, so I didn't really get anything done regarding messages and notes since I was hanging out with them. Did manage to finish this today though, so here we are : D

EDIT Forgot to mention as a continuous reminder: those black marks on her wrists and ankles are black flesh not inked tattoos. They are the visual evidence of Kira's parasitic Innocence, which is the epidermal layer of her skin. c:

Exorcist Casual
Kira prefers pants over shorts, but due to the way her Innocence works she sucks it up when it comes to her uniform and training outfits. However, if she's got free time at the Order and doesn't feel like dressing up in her traditional casuals, she'll wear this. It's also what she dons while on "standby" or waiting on news for a mission, etc.
These are Kira's favorite boots because they're both comfortable and easy to slip off quickly to use as projectiles at a certain rabbit when he gets too annoying. Unfortunately, said rabbit has had years of practice dodging Mugen, so it's rare that Kira actually hits her mark. When all else fails, sic Chikita on 'im! /shotCanon References/Notes:

* I call it the "exorcist casual" simply because all exorcists have a version of this outfit (as seen in refs above) and it's been worn not only during training sessions but also for meetings and at mealtimes.

(Hospital) Sleepwear
Naturally, the hospital is a second home to the exorcists aha. Kira's not fond at all of getting stuck in the infirmary (or any hospital for that matter), but fortunately the shirts and pants they give her when she's recovering are soft and comfortable! Kira's shirt is a simple shirt like the others - sleeveless - but also a little large for her, so it's baggy.
The Matron caught Kira eyeing Kanda's sweater jacket one day when he forgot it in the room after his recovery, so she offered Kira one as well. Kira's very fond of it and will wear it over her nightgown or other pajamas, often times even to breakfast as well.
Chikita's developed an unhealthy obsession with the sweater jacket too; the little feline's been found trying to sneak up on both Allen and Kanda to sleep on theirs. Kanda nearly murdered Chikita after he found his covered in her cat hair one morning.Canon References/Notes:

*Kira's sweater jacket is based off Allen and Kanda's. I was reminded of the "hospital outfit" by Jello's lovely new reference for her D.Gray-Man character Rock'ell Evans - particularly her pajamas. Check her out here! Jello's Rock's extra outfits inspired me to get Kira's extra outfits done ;7;

*Note that in the anime (episode 95/96) Allen's and Kanda's sweater jackets are slightly different. For instance, Allen's has a hood in the anime, but not in the manga; and Kanda's sleeves are more flared and wide in the manga, but not as much in the anime.

Traditional Casual
Kira's infamous "blueberry outfit", the first outfit I ever designed //sobs on et. This is Kira's more "19th century-esque" outfit, which basically has a bunch of traditional elements thrown into one attire. Her top is similar to a vest with the stomach area being styled similarly to a corset, then a nice dress shirt underneath with the slightly poofed up shoulders and thin sleeves, which can be short or long.
Due to her past (being trapped in a burning building thanks to her dress getting caught under debris, amongst other incidents), Kira still isn't comfortable wearing dresses until patient coaxing from Lenalee and (in her AU story) GazeRei 's Rei; which is why I designed pants for her here.Fun References for 19th Century Clothing: Google it. I'm too much of lazy bum right now to search my bookmarks //mings//

Traditional Casual 2
Thanks to the lovely GazeRei , Kira's now got another casual outfit ;7; Many thanks to Reisy for designing such an adorable dress! Anyway, this outfit symbolizes Kira's character development into becoming more comfortable with dresses and more confident in herself. Growing up marred by her Innocence (which took on the appearance of a skin disease), Kira had adopted the ideology that she'd never look pretty anyway, so what was the point in worrying over such a petty thing? However, with encouragement from Rei, Kira grows out of her bitterness to actually enjoy going a out of her way to make herself look pretty (as in messing with hairstyles, wearing nicer clothes, etc) and to be comfortable with her own body. (In Kira's fanfic, it's Lenalee who takes this role).

Technically, Kira's supposed to wear the usual Victorian poofy undergarments under her dress, but I still can't draw those LOL. So either the shorts I referenced or use your imagination on more historically accurate undergarments xD
