Description Work of fan art, no profit, blah blah blah, Jim Henson.

This was surprisingly difficult to colour. I was to learn that navigating black areas and painting light upon dark was an entirely different procedure than I was used to. On the up side, I rather like the outcome.

VERY nice!!! Beautiful coloring! I like Sarah's outfit, her braid and her crown especially. Also her swirly arm thing. And I like the backgrounds.

Glad to hear it! I was a bit in doubt whether an Egyptian/random 'wild' details combination would work for someone who is usually associated with white poufy princess things -- but I wanted an older, more regal and timeless result, not Cinderella.

The background is best described as 'variations over Escher' -- I used the real drawing as a basic reference and then filled in random details and textures to get that crazy stair room feel.
