I love the contrast of the red shades and the solid black. The details must have been a pain but the result was worth it! It's the most original Labyrinth fanart I've seen so far.

the black and white I used on sara was kinda a cop-out because I spent so much time and effort (and layers) on the firies that I knew I just couldn't keep up the intensity on a real life subject like that.. I think it worked out really well too thankfully <3

I knew next to those creatures there was nothing I could do to sarah to make her look 'human' or 'real' so I just went with the black and white, and it really helped the creatures stand out even more-

the first tiume I saw it I was 7- I was @ my grandparents house and there was a little girl over from across the road watching it with me and I remember she had to go home after that part cause she freaked out >XD
