YAY PAGE 1 OF THE EGGMAN PLOT IS DONE!
At least I think it is, unless I look back and notice some color issues because this was a BITCH. I actually did all the coloring and lighting and shading on the third panel with Eggman, as an experiment. Once I was satisfied with that was when I went ahead with the rest of the comic. My layers are a mess on this one though... And I need to learn how to draw background environments better.
So! This first page (which I think I'm gonna name each plot arc individually, like how the first one with Zero and Gen was "Origins") is pretty important to the story. You'll all notice the giant mechas (Egg Dragoon, Egg Emperor, and the Nega Wisp Armor/Death Egg Robot) are listed in simulations as failures. And that's because in this Sonic Forces rewrite, the Death Egg Robot will NOT be the final boss of this story. It'll be a years long war for me to tackle this comic but I'm establishing right now that what happens in the Forces game with the boss is NOT happening here.
Also hope you like the cameos with the Dragoon and the Emperor. They were a PAIN to draw, even at a convenient angle. And also can I just say that I am so so SO thankful for Orbot and Cubot's existence, it makes Eggman's exposition flow so much more naturally when he has someone to talk to.
