I never saw this movie until a few months ago for a separate project and I honestly feel like I might have missed being a part of something by being denied this movie. I do love this movie but the ones who grew up with it seem to have a better understanding on it where it evolves overtime. I love absolutely am in love with Jareth, he is completely awesome even if he is a total bastard (I wonder if a certain imp was based off him?) but I do get the sense that he does love Sarah yet isn't able to express it in a conventional way. When seeing that ending, I do believe they will somehow meet again and with Sarah having to have learned to balance her childish tendencies with her adult responsibilities.
