Description My new pet since I found out the hard way I'm allergic to bunnies This is a young Royal ball python I named Reeah after a boss in the bookseries Deltoras quest (who is also a snake) This is a male one and don't ask me how to differe a male from a female it was the breeder who said it is a male. Well I got it from a terrarioum store, largest in sweden, who in turn got him from a local breeder. I first looked at a corn snake but decided for the ball python as it is a larger snake that you can handle better. They won't grow as long as one might think, only about 130 cm long, but they will grow thicker than a corn snake.
His colour is the regular ball python colour but they had other colourations of the snake but they cost more.

Thanks. Sadly I don't own him anymore. He outgrew my apartment.

Not sure what mesurements you use, inches or metric, but he will grow to be about 110-130 cm long

Oh, that sounds long.

Know any non venomous snakes that are 45 inches?

I don't do inches... but I know corn snakes don't get too long. They are sleek food loving snakes while ball pyhon are more sturdy food picky snakes.

And both are great for beginner owners. I bet there are others, ask a real reptile shop and not your local pet store. I don't know how it is in USA but in Sweden you need to get a paper, proving that the snake is from a breeder and not taken from the wild.

I'll gladly think about it.

Hey, I've got some drawings of snakes in my gallery if you want to see them.

^,^ Nice crisp photo, seems you got the exposure on it right. Probably used an auto mode because it was a phone photo, but that's okay. You expressed the snake perfectly.

I want a snake but pets worry me and my mom hates snakes.

Thanks ^^ I love him so much even if I have only had him for a few days.

Also shame that you can't have snakes, maybe a lizard if you can stand giving it live bugs to eat.

Mhm. That is the basic colour they have. The store had other colours but the bacis were the cheapest (and most beautiful) one
