The color does so much to bring out Rover's face. I'm enjoying seeing the b/w and color back to back. The color brings it to life. But the b/w also presents a kida classic quality.
May I ask, what's the pink in the sky? Clouds?

Good question. Technically they are an Aurora. The Jssfloon sky is always full of swirling colors. But they were way too distracting with all their colors in this simple style........so they ended up pink. Maybe it has something to do with the atmospheric pressure today. *shrug*

They're both great in their own rights, I think. But color is more eye catching and engaging too.
Oh ok, that's what's in your The Sky's The Limit image too (which I realized I hadn't read till just now). Must be a beautiful sky to live with. Although maybe just a bit overwhelming for humans though. Are they visible at night much too?

Yes! One and the same. It is a very pretty sky, constantly swirling and flickering with pastel rainbows. Never boring. Their unique sky is one of the things that makes it such a desirable tourist destination. They are visible at night, even brighter than during the day. Much like our Aurora Borialis they give off their own faint light. So there is always some light to see by at night.
True. They could occasionally take on solid colors.

Dazzling! Imagine the equivalent of watching clouds. Watching auroras! I'd like that at night. I love how bright the night is when the moon is full. Auroras ought to be a doozy.
Actually the planet I maroon the castaway of the Minnow on in my story is inside a nebula with big tachyon clouds swirling around in it (always moving faster the light), which was the "storm" that caught the ship. I figure they'd be a bit colorful and like auroras at night on their island planet.

Agh, I know I should. The stories still need to be finished, patched up or figured out. I'm not the technically best writer either. But I just love story ideas.
