Byron and Tip are my Super Strike OCs. I've only drawn them a couple of times so I had a lot of fun with this. These two are maintenance workers. And Tip is the one who ends up doing most of the dirty work. Despite his knowledge of mechanics he is extremely inept and inevitably gets...ahem...caught up in his work.Related content

I hope he's just tangled. I could imagine a strain like that breaking his tail, which would be pretty painful, but I'd guess Byron would get him down fast if he was actually being hurt.

No. Byron would certainly intervene if he thought his little friend was really in danger. He rather enjoys watching his pride being injured, though.

It would be fun seeing them trying to fix Kervak's ship. I think the sight of Tip's tail would make her nervous about letting him work on her beloved ship but she has no choice, there are no other repair crew available.

I hadn't done anything Super Strike related in a long time. Thought it was about time.
Yep. He's done quite a job on that poor tail over the course of his inept life. Lol! Byron is enjoying this moment far too much. I'm betting there was a warning here. He just looks too smug about the situation.
LOL! The process is called "finish this before I have to leave". I did use a textured brush for the shading. Which is new. I thought it would add some....er....texture.

Did you use different brushes here?

Yeah. I used the regular round bush and adjusted its setting to "scatter". I think it makes it look kind of like pencil strokes.
Tip always seems to have a had time of it.

That's what I thought when I saw it, looks very much like pencil! I should see if GIMP has a setting like that.
Almost like Gilligan for danger proneness, except looks like everything happens to him, even though it looks like he knows what he's doing.
