AAAAAAHHHH! My first ever 2d animation!!! (excluding one half of a cat walking cycle I did when I was 14) I CAN'T EXPRESS TO YOU HOW EXCITED I AM!!I know it's kind of jerky but I'm still pretty happy with it.
I used 'Pencil 2d'...finally figured out how to add frames between other frames. Of course my first subject had to be Rover. I can draw him pretty quickly. No, he's not wearing his hat. I have a hard enough time drawing it at an angle without making it move.
Not sure exactly what's happening here. Anybody want to venture a guess?

Still doesn't quite explain the absents of his hat though, does it?... Oh well.
A slight addition of narrative: 'No one would deny Nana's impeccable ability to smell emotion. But at times she could almost be rivaled by Rover and his ability to smell *sniff sniff* food... Ahhhhhh, chili to be exact! That always seemed to come to his nose like a champion racehorse to the finish line.'
(something like that anyway, I can't simulate Rover's way of sayin' things.
hmm, yeah, I can't think of anything other then chili either. Though I'm not much for hot spicy foods myself, I know Rover is.

Ha ha! I LOVE it!! Rover does have quite the nose himself, especially for food. The racehorse analogy was perfect. Rover does love horses.
That is a big difference between Rover and me. I am a wuss when it comes to spicy things while Rover'll go for the hottest food he can get his hands on.

I know, I'm the same. I even have to wait for hot chocolate to cool down till after everyone else has already finished theirs. My tongue feels like sand paper when I drink it too soon. XD

This is really and I mean Really good! You've kept his curl and other details in the right spot as he turns and they keep their shape perfectly!

Really?? I'm so glad you think so!! I've always wanted to get into animation but this is the first time I really dove in an tried it. I draw Rover so often that I thought he would be the easiest to get consistent.

Maybe looking uncomfortable at whatever Rover's doing XD Since it's just a face expression you're doing here with Rover. It could be a wince when Rover does something harmful XD
