I've decided to do a redesign of Soorn, Rover's Jssfloon guardian and surrogate father. I hope you like him.Here's a few examples of his original design. What do you think?

Probably something small so the bleeding wouldn't be too dangerous. Maybe some third symbol, or something in memory of the thirds who have been murdered.

Hmm. That would be perfect! Especially if she's trying to make a statement. Since Jylee has been a bit of an activist I wonder if she has actually heard of him.
I'm thinking maybe to mix up the dynamic a bit, she has actually decided to have a job instead of being the family's homemaker. Of course Thirds can only get dangerous or unwanted jobs.

It could have been hee way of getting attention in school and just escalated as she grew up.
What do you think about ta sister that's super supportive. Both an active cheerleader and a warning and confused voice when she does something crazy. And a brother so opposed that he's willing to quietly get rid of her to keep her from shaming the whole family by marrying Jylee.

I thought it would be a bit of a contrast to Flyspur. Who has one sibling that's kind of indifferent and another that's mostly just rude.
Of course she was your idea. So in a way she's your character. I'm just makin suggestions.

Might be fun to play a story with them meeting and escaping the planet sometime.
I wonder if her brother could whip up a silent mob. After all in a sense she would be stealing children from the planet.

Yeah. At that point they would be happy with anyone else. I wonder how long they 'date' before tying the knot. Not really something I've thought much about. I know there is customarily quite a bit of evaluation.

I would guess they'd do it in secret, and maybe even run away together before tying the knot, if they got discovered soon. I think they could get away with it for a while because the thought of Jylee marrying a third would be unthinkable.

Im sure they would, both knowing how crazy it was. But yeah. People just wouldn't come to that conclusion at first. Especially with his friends knowing thst he is just always nice to Thirds. At least at first it wouldn't be suspicious. Although...grandma might be.

It might be kind of funny if her sister was even more of an advocate than she was. Almost annoyingly vocal about Thirds. Meaning well, but occasionally embarassing.

Yep. Because Rover went through that phase when he first found out about the infantacide. But he would be shocked to see a Jssfloon actually in space doing it. I think he would probably be a little embarassed that the aliens around would actually KNOW he was a Third, as that's what he liked about space, nobody knew or cared. But I don't se how he wouldn't be impressed. Especially since Jssfloon hardly ever leave their planet.
