I've decided to do a redesign of Soorn, Rover's Jssfloon guardian and surrogate father. I hope you like him.Here's a few examples of his original design. What do you think?

For sure. I think if she could prove anything people would be absolutely horrified. Even though Thirds make people uncomfortable hurting a child, ANY child, would be punished with tthe greatest severity.

That would be QUITE surprising. I wonder if she was that vocal about it that other races would either not go to Jssfloon for vaction in protest or go there and complain.

Actually I bet some Thirds could make it on their own if they had a product that tourists would want. And if there were some that specificallybwould buy from them it would help!

I imagine a lot of them would be! Although, some who have felt sorry four them would probably be glad. There are several groups of thought on the planet. Most people just don't think of Thirds at all, because it's not too often they would encounter one and they are mostly easy to avoid. Then there are those that kind of feel sorry for them, and will be polite enough during an encounter but are still uncomfortable enough that they won't seek out any kind of friendship. Those two are likely the majority. Indifference or a small amount of pity, Avoid them if you can, but be nice enough if you really HAVE to talk to them. Then there are the lesser majority, but still quite common, Those who are actively annoyed by their presence, either because of the discomfort they cause or their lack of sociatal contribution. These people can be snarky and mildly rude, or will go absolutely out of their way to avoid them. Then you have the small minority of extremists on either side. Those who will go out of their way to be kind because they see the injustice of it all, and those who absolutely can't stand their existence and will go out of their way to harass them.

I think she would. I wonder if she would eventually go back to Jssfloon, though. Knowing that's where the Thirds are and after she has raised awareness in space she would need to go back to where they actually were to help them.
