Probably asserting his dominance over a patch of yummy berries, announcing that they all belong to him.

That's great.
I wonder what Pixie and Brutus would look like as dinos.Β

Gasp! That's a brilliant idea!!!

Rebel-Rider In reply to chill13 [2019-04-30 14:48:30 +0000 UTC]
Brutus would obviously be some big predator, but I'm not sure about Pixie. I mean, she is a cat, so a carnivoreΒ would he possible.Β

chill13 In reply to Rebel-Rider [2019-04-30 14:59:07 +0000 UTC]
Yeah! For sure! I'm thinking maybe an alasaurus, they have a bit of a thinner snout than a t rex and it might resemble Brutus more. Pixie could maybe be a small ceratopsin. Like a proto or a lepta

Maybe. I was thinking some sort of fluffy raptor chick. "Pixie, you have claws."
"No, I just have fluffy feet."

Rebel-Rider In reply to chill13 [2019-04-30 15:16:08 +0000 UTC]
And Pixie should be fluffy.

She is sip fluffy, and those giant blue eyes.

When you put it on Instagram, remember to hashtag it. I got over a hundred likes on my comic and I rarely get 30.

Yeah. Hashtags are super important! I have discovered that.

They do help, especially for Pixie and Brutus.

Good idea. I really should use more hashtags than I do.Β

Rebel-Rider In reply to chill13 [2019-04-30 16:34:18 +0000 UTC]
It would probably help me more if I had enough content to stop doing dog pictures. Β

chill13 In reply to Rebel-Rider [2019-04-30 16:39:49 +0000 UTC]
Well, people do love dog pictures. I would hashtag those to death too.

True. I could do that more.

Dog breed would do well also. People love to look up their favorite dog breeda.

I've never had them. We mostly have bigger dogs. (Coyotes can be an issue.)

chill13 In reply to Rebel-Rider [2019-04-30 17:47:38 +0000 UTC]
Ah. Very true. I've had quite a few dogs. Most of them small.

Rebel-Rider In reply to chill13 [2019-04-30 18:33:44 +0000 UTC]
Small dogs are a good option for people in town. Big dogs need a lot of exercise.Β

chill13 In reply to Rebel-Rider [2019-04-30 18:36:53 +0000 UTC]
Yeah. We had a pekapom when I was little. Not of the time we lived in a trailer or an RV. So little dogs were good. But at one point I really wanted a big dog. Finally got one. Lab dobie...i think. We got her from the pound.

Ah. Around here, most rescue dogs arenβt good ranch dogs.
π: 0 β©: 1
chill13 In reply to Rebel-Rider [2019-04-30 19:17:02 +0000 UTC]
True. They probably need training to be around other animals.
π: 0 β©: 1
Rebel-Rider In reply to chill13 [2019-04-30 21:12:39 +0000 UTC]
Yep. And some breeds just donβt work well around other animals.
π: 0 β©: 1
chill13 In reply to Rebel-Rider [2019-04-30 21:16:58 +0000 UTC]
Very true. Need to be acclimated from puppyhood.
π: 0 β©: 1
Rebel-Rider In reply to chill13 [2019-04-30 22:30:57 +0000 UTC]
And even then some breeds are a bad idea. Certain breeds are bred to chase which is bad when there are cows and horses.
π: 0 β©: 1
chill13 In reply to Rebel-Rider [2019-04-30 22:42:07 +0000 UTC]
Yup. Dashchunds love to chase things....and dig
π: 0 β©: 1
Rebel-Rider In reply to chill13 [2019-04-30 23:10:37 +0000 UTC]
Probably not cows though.

chill13 In reply to Rebel-Rider [2019-04-30 23:15:34 +0000 UTC]
Heh. I don't know. Our doxies didn't seem to know how big they were.
π: 0 β©: 1
Rebel-Rider In reply to chill13 [2019-04-30 23:46:58 +0000 UTC]
The trouble with cow dogs is that they actually are big enough to chase cattle, and sometimes panic them enough the livestock will run through a fence or hurt themselves. I doubt those little guys could panic cattle or horses to that extent. (Cow dogs bite the cattle.)

chill13 In reply to Rebel-Rider [2019-05-01 00:10:01 +0000 UTC]
Ooh! That's not good. I know wheelers like to nip.
π: 0 β©: 1
Rebel-Rider In reply to chill13 [2019-05-01 00:13:59 +0000 UTC]
Yep. We quit owning cow dogs because the instinct to chase cattle is too strong in them, and they get into trouble. Golden retrievers might chase, but they won't bite the cows, and they tend to just want to play, not get aggressive about it, unless they're told to be aggressive.Β
