Tara, my dobie/lab loved to chase things but she was always pretty gentle with other animals.

Cowdogs aren't. The problem is, they're bred for herding cattle, so they're basically bred to chase and bite, which can be a problem when we normally didn't need their help. (Lots of people have trouble with them killing cats/kittens too, or chickens.) Golden retrievers are bred to not bite down hard, so if they do get a bad habit of chasing, it can often be corrected before something is injured.Β

Yeah. You could do that. Sometimes it's good to wait a little bit to edit so you don't have what you wrote fresh in your mind and might miss stuff because you know what you meant.....at least that's what I've heard.
